Cascade Creekside Landing

The living room at Cascade Creekside Landing is a sunroom with a fireplace, set among firs and cedars on Bellingham's east side. At 784 square feet, the home has 2 bedrooms, shelves of books beside the king bed, and a wraparound deck along the glass. Below the deck, the lawn runs down to a creek.

What You'll Love About Cascade Creekside Landing

• Sleeps 5 across 2 bedrooms, with a king bed and a twin over queen bunk
• Shelves of books in the primary bedroom and board games tucked into the second
• A wraparound deck with a gas grill and a table along the sunroom glass

The Sunroom
Windows fill two walls of the sunroom, under a vaulted ceiling crossed by a dark timber beam. The fireplace sits in a stacked-stone wall beneath a painted mountain mural, and the TV hangs on the green-paneled wall beside it. Through the rainy months, water streaks the glass while the fireplace is lit. A round dining table in the corner, by a sliding glass door, has room for a board game.

Kitchen
The kitchen opens onto the sunroom, and from the stove the view runs through to the far windows. Dark wood cabinets and black tile frame the stainless range, and the sink has its own window into the trees.

The Bedrooms
In the primary bedroom, a bookcase set into fern-print wallpaper holds rows of books, and a desk sits by the window. The second bedroom has its own desk, with board games on open shelves against a whitewashed brick wall. Either desk takes a remote worker's laptop, a sketchbook, or a jigsaw puzzle on a wet day.

Deck and Grounds
Red chairs and an outdoor table line the deck along the sunroom glass, with the gas grill at the far end behind a cable railing. Tall grass and maples line the creek at the bottom of the lawn. The detached garage at the end of the gravel drive has a workbench and space to hang bikes, with a wash station behind it for cleaning a frame after the trails on Galbraith.

Nearby
Galbraith Mountain's trail network and Bloedel Donovan Park on Lake Whatcom are a short drive from the home, and Bellingham International Airport (BLI) sits on the northwest edge of town. The surrounding road is residential and wooded.
