Keauhou Kai C301

On the south end of the Kona coast, the Kona Country Club greens run down toward the water and Keauhou keeps a slower pace than town. Keauhou Kai C301 sits at the top of its building with no one overhead, so the ceiling vaults and a wall of windows opens the great room onto the lanai. From up here the view carries across the golf course to the ocean, and west means the sun sets into it.

What You'll Love About Keauhou Kai C301
• Top-floor position with no one above, vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows across the great room
• A wide lanai that looks over the golf course to the ocean, set up for lounging and open-air meals
• Sleeps 6 across two king bedrooms and an open loft
• Beach gear packed and waiting by the door: boogie boards, cooler, umbrellas, and toys
• A community pool, hot tub, and shaded pavilion along the Kona Country Club grounds

The Open Main Level
Inside, the main level reads as one open room: kitchen, a long dining table, and living area under the same vaulted ceiling, all sharing the view and sliding open to the lanai. Woven textures and pale wood keep it easy underfoot, and a 75-inch TV covers movie nights when everyone comes in off the water. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a coffee and blender bar for slow mornings, and the open layout leaves a family or two couples room to spread out.

The Lanai
The lanai runs along the front of the unit, wide enough for lounge seating and a table, with the golf course below and the ocean past it. Because nothing sits above, the light comes in clean and the sight line stays open. A grill at one end covers the evenings people decide to stay in.

Sleeping Quarters
• Primary king bedroom: windows to the mountain side, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bath
• Second king bedroom: set apart on the main level, facing the green, with a full bath nearby
• Open loft: two queen futons and a desk overlooking the living room, plus its own full bath

The Grounds and Getting Around
Downstairs, the community keeps a pool, a hot tub, and a shaded pavilion along the edge of the golf course. Keauhou puts the shopping center, a movie theater, and a weekly farmers market a few minutes away, with Keauhou Bay, known locally for its manta rays, close by. Kahalu'u draws snorkelers about a mile up the road, and Magic Sands is a short drive at 2.5 miles. Kona International Airport (KOA) sits roughly forty minutes north.

Good to Know
• The unit is on the third floor with no elevator, about a flight and a half up.
• Both bedrooms have their own AC; the living, dining, and loft share a wall unit plus ceiling and floor fans, and the jalousie windows keep the air moving through.
• One assigned parking space sits across from the entry, with overflow on request. A video doorbell covers the entry hallway.

With no one above, the ceiling stays high and the lanai keeps the whole view to itself, golf course to ocean, all the way to the waterline. Most people have the boogie boards out before they unpack.
