3BD Pakui Street Estate (149) at Hualalai Resort

The Kona-Kohala coast runs dry and golden here, where the Hualalai Golf Course rolls toward the Pacific and the afternoon light turns copper before it drops into the sea. Pakui Street Estate sits in that line of sight, a single-level Hawaiian home whose great room opens wall to wall onto a private pool and spa. All three bedrooms are ensuite, each with a lanai or garden shower of its own, and the bunk suite gives the kids a wing to themselves.

What You'll Love About Pakui Street Estate
• A private pool and spa set into manicured lawn, with a stone firepit for the hours after sunset
• Great room, kitchen, and lanai flowing as one open space beneath soaring koa wood ceilings
• A built-in grill on a custom stone bar, with a dining table and lounge chairs already in place
• Sleeps six across three ensuite bedrooms, including a bunk suite that suits multigenerational groups
• Golf cart on site, a blended indoor-outdoor office, and Hualalai Resort access available with a pass

Living, Dining, and Kitchen
Inside, the ceilings climb into hand-laid koa, and the pocketing glass doors slide away until the great room, the dining table, and the lanai read as one space open to the trade winds. The kitchen wears the same warm wood and hand-crafted tile, with counter seating that keeps the cook in the conversation and a pot on the stove never far from a swim in the pool.

Outdoor Living
Outside is where the house spends its day. The pool and spa sit at the center of a manicured lawn, ringed by tropical planting with the fairway beyond. One end of the lanai holds the built-in grill and its stone bar, the other a dining table set for long evenings. When the sky goes orange, the firepit takes over and the whole coast turns to silhouette; on clear afternoons the sun drops straight down the golf course and into the water.

Sleeping Quarters
• Primary suite: king bed, ocean view, and lanai access, with a dual-vanity ensuite, a deep soaking tub, and a walled garden shower open to the sky
• Guest suite: king bed with garden views, lanai access, and its own ensuite bath
• Bunk suite: two twin bunk sets and two queens, an ensuite bath, and a private outdoor shower

Hualalai Resort
The estate sits inside the gates of Hualalai Resort, a private community on the Kona-Kohala coast. With a resort pass, guests can add the Jack Nicklaus golf course, the Sports Club and Spa, resort pools, and dining, arranged directly with the resort for a separate daily fee.

Nearby
The gate opens onto the Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway, with Kailua-Kona, its harbor, coffee farms, and restaurants a short drive south. Kona International Airport (KOA) is close enough that the first swim can happen the day you land. This leeward stretch stays sunny when the rest of the island clouds over.

Good to Know
• All three bedrooms are ensuite, with a powder room off the living area and no stairs indoors on the single level.
• Central AC and ceiling fans run throughout, and both king suites have space for a crib or pack-and-play.
• Hualalai Resort amenities require a separate pass paid directly to the resort.

By six most evenings, everyone drifts back to the lanai to watch the light go. The firepit is already warm, and the coast handles the rest.
