Inside, one long room holds the kitchen, dining, and living space, all of it turned toward the water. The kitchen keeps cherry cabinets and stainless appliances, with a granite breakfast bar where morning coffee happens facing the view. A round table gathers four for dinner, and the sofa looks straight through the sliders to the ocean beyond. Tile runs underfoot through the common space, cool on bare feet after a day at the beach.

The Lanai
The lanai is where Moana Kai earns its corner. White railings run its length, the coastline opening wide from one end to the other, surf and sea cliffs far below the green bluff. Winter mornings bring humpbacks surfacing offshore; most afternoons bring the kind of light that keeps people from going back inside. Moana Kai sits on the top floor, reached by an exterior staircase, so plan for stairs with luggage. Both bedrooms have their own split A/C, and ceiling fans run throughout. Alii Kai is a resort condominium community in Princeville.
